MPE and Urban Strategy have reached a collaborative agreement whose first result has been, on MPE’s side, a Strategic Idea Model for the “Las Leyendas” (The Legends) Park in the city of Lima, Peru.
This Model is supported by some mobilizing vectors on which we proposed to act and which, although they are common to most amusement parks, depending on the concepts we apply and the treatment we give them, can lead us to modify the image of the park by transforming it, from the visitor’s standpoint, into a new, modern and dynamic place that vibrates to the rhythm of the themes that it harbors, with a capacity for renovation and surprise, year after year, to motivate repeat visits and win potential new customers.
The central objective of the model was to shape and develop a rallying, transcendent idea/proposal that would not only meet the captive customer’s expectations for the, but would make it possible to attract new customers to try the park and to recover those who have abandoned it, in the short and medium-term, with attractive and different come-ons each year.
Throughout our proposal, for the introduction of a strategic idea model, a series of attractions, action programs and animations emerged in which the connecting link was based solely on the fact that they belonged to a single project, met all their objectives and complied with the mobilizing vectors included in the model. But, so that all of this would make sense and be part of a whole, with a coherent internal script that would be easily identifiable by the attending public, or by potential customers, it was necessary to create the guiding element under which all the other activities would be grouped. This element was called the season “leitmotif”.
