Together with the Magic School of Juan Tamariz, MPE begins a new adventure with the creation of a magic workshop for the “International Summer Camp of El Escorial” carried out every year by “Juventud y Cultura“, a company specialized in language courses abroad.

Learn Spanish with Spanish students in Madrid

San Lorenzo de El Escorial – Real Colegio Alfonso XII

Summer Camp in Spain is a specially designed program designed to promote cultural exchange among a group of international students.

Our goal is to provide a stimulating environment for students where people from different countries and cultural backgrounds come together to share their cultures and interests.

This dynamic, diverse group setting fosters an environment of mutual support and camaraderie-students learn together and teach each other as they explore new and exciting challenges.

All activities, field trips, and foreign language instruction contribute to a comprehensive educational experience that combines art, culture, sports, and leisure.

The historic town of San Lorenzo de El Escorial is nestled in the heart of the Guadarrama mountain range, about thirty miles from Madrid. This town is known for its cultural and historical significance, as well as its rigorous academics. Professors from some of the most prestigious universities in the world travel here to give lectures at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid Summer Courses. The town has a population of about 50,000 and is located three thousand feet above sea level. It is a haven for “madrileños” who seek to enjoy the cool temperatures and fresh air far from the summer heat in the city of Madrid.

The Monastery of El Escorial, an architectural gem and UNESCO World Heritage Site, was commissioned by the Emperor Philip II in the 16th century. It is known internationally as the Eighth Wonder of the World.

Juventud y Cultura

The company was founded in 1974 by Mr. Emérito Fernández, who is the current President. Ms. Maria del Carmen Ferreiro is the Director and Mr. Luis Ferreiro is the manager.

Juventud y Cultura is a company at the service of parents and schools that collaborates in training young people and adults, helping them improve their knowledge of languages, while promoting cultural enrichment through the development of programs in other countries.

If there’s one thing that makes stand out it’s that each year more people choose this organization, it is your investment in quality education. To assure this, they earned the UKAS accreditation, one of the most important quality certifications available, for your management of language courses in Spain and abroad and your development and coordination of youth camps in Spain. These certifications demonstrate the quality of your courses and the strength of your organization.

As part of your goal to offer the best possible service, they are founding members of CEIC: Quality International Education Club, members of WYSETC: World Youth Student & Educational Travel Confederation, ALTO: Association of Language Travel Organisations, and IAPA: International Au Pair Association. These organizations include the membership of a large part of the legally established companies in the national and international spheres. They also earned the Silver Medal of Tourist Merit from the Ministry of Tourism in Spain, and they are a Trinity College London registered exam centre.

With more than 30 years of experience, they are one of the pioneers in Spain in travel and language course organizations. For both youth and adults, both individuals and groups, they have a wide range of programs that they continue to improve year after year to offer the highest quality and best destinations.

The Great School of Magic

The Great School of Magic “Juan Tamariz”, led by his daughter Ana Tamariz, designed this Magic workshop in which the campers, besides receiving Magic lessons, will also learn techniques, history of the Magic, magical theory, etc. from two of their best teachers, Manuel Llaser and Iñaki Zabaleta. The syllabus has been created and reviewed by Juan Tamariz, and it is packed with the best games of illusionism from all branches of Magic.

At this Summer Camp the School offers full training in the Art of Magic and no previous knowledge is required.

Thanks to the experience gained in these 15 years teaching Magic to children and adults, you will not only learn to be great magicians, but you will also enjoy a great magical atmosphere with the best team of instructors.

A magical and unique camp

Where in addition to languages, Magic and sports activities, during their international experience they will learn and develop other activities such as Fencing, Dance and Theatre. At the end of the camp a Festival will be held and the campers perform and exhibit all the skills and knowledge acquired during these weeks.

This festival, which takes place in the fabulous Teatro del Real Colegio Alfonso XII, is organized and directed by Ignacio Brieva and this year, as a grand finale, it featured a stellar performance by the great Argentine magician Iñaki Zabaleta, World runner-up of Magic at the International Congress of the IFMS (International Federation of Magic Societies), held in The Netherlands in 2003.
