This amazing production is developed on a 700m2 stage space, enclosed by two majestic scenographies, where no effort has been spared to turn this show into a real experience.
With 15 majestic thoroughbred horses on stage, a cast of more than 30 actors/specialists, a technical team of 12 people, more than 20,000w of sound, 80,000w of spectacular lighting and special effects from the world of cinema and never before seen in a live show, Robin Hood becomes a unique show in its genre.

MEDIEVAL-STYLE MENU
Large platters of medieval-style roast chicken, ribs, baked potatoes, grilled vegetables and corn on the cob will be brought to us at a banquet where there is no room for silverware. More than 20 waiters will serve us large pitchers, with varied juices with which to quench our thirst, while we attend the self-proclamation of John the Landless as King of the English, in the face of the rejection of many of his subjects and the cheers of his followers.
We have been invited to Nottingham Castle, to the proclamation of John the Landless as King of England.
In 1199, King John the landless took control of the crown of England in the absence of his brother Richard the Lionheart. Many Knights, including Sir Robert of Locksley, asked the King to sign a Charter of Liberties that would give rights to his subjects. Upon his refusal, Sir Robert decided not to recognize him as King, and he was stripped of all his titles and became an outlaw in his own land, becoming known as Robin Hood.
Robin Hood, expelled from Nottingham, takes refuge in Sherwood Forest where he becomes good friends with Little John, leader of the outlaws. Their friendship gets strengthened when the band is joined by the kind and holy Friar Tuck and the good Will Scarlett, who gets to risk his life to save Robin Hood’s.
Meanwhile, the Sheriff and the local sorceress attempt to carry out a Machiavellian plan to end the reign of John the landless and Robin Hood’s life. To do so, they involve the sweet Lady Marian, who will have to be saved in extremis by our hero.
Once again, the Magic Costablanca Hotel Group surprises us with a bold tourist venture for leisure and entertainment of international scope.
The first step has been the complete transformation of the Excalibur Medieval Complex into a Holiday Park themed around the legend of this universal hero.

The skill of the horsemen gives spectacular and cinematic airs to the recreation of the legend of Robin Hood in the Castle of Alfaz.
It is increasingly difficult to satisfy the demanding tastes of the whole family with a leisure proposal in the age of the Internet and the fast pace at which everything goes out of fashion.
The “Medieval Challenge” recreating the story of Robin Hood in the Castle of Alfaz seems to be an option with many ingredients to achieve this, with a fusion of several types of shows.
Basically it could be considered a theatre performance. But when instead of the usual raised stage as a platform, we see the actors moving along a moat lower than the seating area with 700 square meters of sand surface, the staging becomes much more impressive. In addition, the entire audience is close by, in two side grandstands, where they hear the firm blows of the medieval knights as they rumble on the fences.
The performance alternates between English and Spanish, without repeating or translating, but the characters jump from one language to another in every dialogue.
Thus, because of the context, both the national and the international public follow the story of the events and, in the process, can improve their language skills.

The tournament, inspired by the legend of Robin Hood, is the proposal for this summer’s “Medieval Challenge”. In facilities that recreate a castle from the Middle Ages and the legend of Robin Hood, this majestic night show takes place, with more than 30 actors and specialists, a dozen purebred horses trained to give life to the games, jousts and tournaments, and a technical team of light and sound experts with 12 people.
The Castle of Alfaz, expert in in this genre in Spain, hosts this show designed by Ignacio Brieva (MPE). The show stands out for his cinema special effects, on a 700 square metre stage space enclosed by two majestic scenographies that take us from Nottingham Castle to the actual Sherwood Forest.
And 20,000w of sound and 100,000w of lighting power give life to this unique show in its genre.
The whole experience comes while we have dinner. In that time we can accompany Robin Hood in his adventures and attend the games, jousts and tournaments just as they were held in 12th century England.
