The Origins: Knight Rider
The beginning of this macro-exhibition/show dates back to 1987 when we decided to exhibit, both in Spain and South America, the car from a television series that at that time was scoring a big success in the entire world. We’re referring to: “Knight Rider” (Kitt, the fantastic car).
In that initial experience we could see that, when the car was shown only in an exhibition, it aroused the public’s curiosity but wasn’t able to excite emotions, to break the admiration barrier. So we decided to generate a small show around it in which the public could participate and interact with the car. That was one of our first projects in Spain, and its exhibition place was the Parque de Atracciones de Madrid (Madrid amusement park). The success was overwhelming, reaching the point where the long lines that formed to enter our first exhibition/show went as far as to block the entrance to the park, due to the proximity of the place where the event was held.
